Dr. Segarra

Dr. Segarra is a 1998 graduate of the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. He has practiced in the state of North Carolina ever since. He has treated more than 6000 patients. He is certified in treating extremity conditions, activator and pro-adjuster chiropractic techniques. He is an active member of the Southwest Cabarrus Rotary Club and Cabarrus Chamber of Commerce. He is a past board member for both organizations serving the Harrisburg community.

Prior to attaining his doctorate of chiropractic, Dr. Segarra earned both a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton in Biology and a B.S. degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Human Biology.  While at Binghamton, he served as an athletic trainer giving him the knowledge and ability to diagnose and treat many sports related injuries more effectively.

Dr. Segarra is a unique chiropractor to this area. His experience working at First Choice Family Healthcare in Raleigh, Chicago’s EdgewaterHospital and the Chicago AIDS Alternative Health Project provides for a training few chiropractors have. In each setting he worked in collaboration with other healthcare professionals including medical doctors, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, acupuncturists and massage therapists. A team approach was utilized in addressing and treating each individual patient’s needs. He has found working in unison with other healthcare providers yields maximum results and better patient outcomes. This networking and team approach is a concept he brings to Harrisburg and the surrounding areas.

Most importantly, Dr. Segarra, his wife Colleen and son Jack want you to know that they care about your health and wish to bring a higher quality of life to the community, one patient at a time.

Shari Murray

 Shari is Dr. Segarra’s right hand. She’s been making each patient’s experience with our office special for several years now. She’ll not only greet you with a smile and assist with your care, but answer all of your financial questions. Her and her two sons love living in our community.
